Neck Mass
A new or persistent neck mass needs to be evaluated by an ENT physician. There are a variety of causes for a neck mass including infection, enlarged lymph nodes, benign tumor or growth, and cancer. Often a physical exam can determine the cause, but further evaluation with imaging such as a CT or MRI scan may be needed. A needle or excisional biopsy may need to be performed and often this can be done in the office with local anesthesia. Contact us today for an evaluation and to develop a treatment plan.
